I admit it Im a beach nut. Beginning on the west coast you will find the windward beaches with large dunes. That equals some outstanding browsing. Try the southern shore, If you want cove-type shores that are more secluded.

One of the best shores within The Algarve lies south of Lagos on the western coast - Dona Ana, which really is a group of coves. Dona Ana is merely the ideal place to get lost in the beauty of The Algarve. I will just sit and think for hours. And, when Im through sitting, its fun to explore the many caves and grottos which grace the area.
