You would have to eliminate the bricks, then re-install all of them when finished.

Trust in me, you may not want to change your old metal windows with new development plastic windows. You want to use either the alternative frame such as the one used to restore the wood sash windows, or anything called a frame, that is common in the west where stucco is really a typical exterior.
