<html>Here's the basis for a screenplay I just developed after watching this 18-second KO from Ivica Truscek over Leonardo Zecchi at Final Fight Championship 9 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Don't worry,[http://www.asktradex.com/Pasts_event.html Kid NFL Jerseys], if you guys give me any suggestions in the comment section I'll give you writing credits.
 +
 +
So Leonardo Zecchi gets head kicked in front of a crowd in Eastern Europe and for the few seconds he's knocked out,[http://biztechbh.biz/Partners.html chicago bears apparel], he astrotravels to what appears to be another dimension, but all he sees is a chrysanthemum slowly bloom before he comes back to reality. After the fight, he tells his trainer about this vision but it's quickly disregarded as some sort of hallucination. Next week in the gym he's going pretty hard with his sparring partner and receives a swift left hook to his head, which renders him unconsciousness on the mat. Leonardo goes back to this dimension and the chrysanthemum finishes bloom and it reveals this cave-like area with dribbling iridescent and multi-color spheres that are creating geometrical holograms in thin air. He eventually comes back from his KO and starts spouting off what he saw when he was unconscious. Once again his trainer disregards what Leonardo saw when he was KOd. When he gets home later that night, Leonardo does a little bit of research of finds that the 'place' that he visited is the exact 'dimension' and the same 'self-transforming machine elves' Terence McKenna has described after he took Dimethyltryptamine (DMT).
 +
 +
The next day he goes to his trainer and tells him what he discovered, and he insists that Leonardo needs to take some time off from being an MMA fighter and possibly go to a doctor to see if he has a brain injury. With his time off, Leonardo makes some dodgy phone calls and eventually gets his hands on DMT. He takes the hallucinogenic substance and finds that he astrotravels to the same dimension he visited when he was knocked out, which is coincidentally the same realm Terence McKenna has described in countless lectures. When he gets to this realm,[http://bangalorewebhosting.com/SEO-services/nfl-saints-jerseys.html saints jersey], he sees the same multi-colored 'machine elves' and they repeatedly say 'deja vu' just before Leonardo comes off the substance. Of course, he's absolutely blown away that there's a completely different reality that can only be accessed when he's either knocked out or under the influence of DMT.
 +
 +
Pretty soon Leonardo finds out that he and Terence McKenna aren't the only ones that have accessed the alternate dimension. Eventually he finds that every person that crosses a certain mental threshold with DMT visits this realm and through enough research he discovers that these 'machine elves' are communicating through holographic imagery, which can convey more information than just vocal inflection.
 +
 +
Leonardo comes to the conclusion that in order to get further in this 'cave,' he needs to take DMT and simultaneously get headkicked knocked out. So he tells his trainer about this idea, and he thinks he completely lost his mind. His sparring partner overhears the conversation and agrees to do it that same night, but when the gym is closed.
 +
 +
Later that night, he gets an ample amount of DMT, takes it and then seconds later his sparring partner delivers a tremendous headkick which knocks him out cold. Leonardo travels to this realm again and finds himself communicating with these self-transforming machine elves by creating his own holographic objects to communicate with. He eventually finds out that these things aren't elves or aliens, but they are his ancestors -- and the realm that he's been visiting is actually the afterlife.
 +
 +
Now switch over to the real world.
 +
 +
His sparring partner is trying to wake him up, but he's still completely unresponsive. He takes him to the hospital and doctors find that he actually slipped into a coma. Now his training partner has to answer to the police for potential manslaughter charges.
 +
 +
Now switch to the alternate dimension.
 +
 +
Leonardo starts to panic, but then begins to understand what it truly means to be in the 'afterlife' and how countless cultures have used shamanic devices to enter this realm and now he's one of the privileged. Editor's note: I'm not quite sure what else could happen here, so feel free to give me suggestions.
 +
 +
Going back to the real world, Leonardo's training partner has somehow talked his way out of a potential manslaughter sentence by providing police emails and texts that prove he actually wanted to be headkicked. Eventually his training partner does research of his own and finds that in order to 'awaken' Leonardo from his coma, he must visit the same place through taking an absurd amount of DMT.
 +
 +
He gets enough courage to take the DMT,[http://bbs.236hd.com/home.php?mod=space&uid=117324 ], and he breaks through the threshold and sees Leonardo in this realm. He attempts to rescue him, but he finds that it's impossible to communicate with him. His training partner knows that the effects of the DMT are wearing off and there's not much time left, so in a last-ditch effort to revive him, his training partner garners enough strength in the afterlife to headkick him back to reality -- and it works.
 +
 +
Switching back to the real world, Leonardo immediately wakes up from his coma, removes the IVs, and rushes out of the hospital to his training partner's apartment. Leonardo frantically knocks and his training partner swings open the door. Both look at each other in complete dismay and relief.
 +
 +
End of proposed screenplay. The ending could probably use a little bit of work,[http://www.jzlsw.com/Review.asp?NewsID=1199 Veterans Day Open Thread], but that idea was just spawned while I quietly sat inside the Starbucks on Hollywood Blvd. and Western Ave. All I wanted to do is show you this video and it eventually led to all of this. Damn, that's so MiddleEasy of me.</html>

UFC 1- Story behind Art Jimmerson and the lone boxing glove

<html>Looking back at the first-ever (UFC) event 20 years ago, the story of how ran through the tournament field -- introducing his dominant and dangerous brand of Brazilian jiu-jitsu to the combat sports world and forever changing the landscape of mixed martial arts (MMA) -- is usually the most common occurring theme.

The famous Gracie-train entrance into the Octagon, and the first-chosen for competition Gracie clad in his gi for the opening round in Denver, Colo., are usually both the most celebrated and most brought up in conversation. But,4.12 , the one indelible image -- the single-most amusing, yet perplexing picture that enters peoples' minds who recall the historic night -- is of Gracie's opponent in that opening round, , and his lone boxing glove.

At the time, UFC was "no holds barred" and were, for all intents and purposes, "no rules." In fact, fighters weren't even required to wear gloves. While it is widely known that gloves protect fighters' hands more than they protect their heads, why wear one and not both? Many of us have wondered, joked with some buddies and scratched our collective heads at the reason Jimmerson cushioned only his left hand in red leather. Perhaps it was symbolic on his part, to show that he was a boxer entering the one-night tournament.

"No!" former UFC executive producer Campbell McLaren told MMAmania recently as a guest on "No, no, no. I wondered about that for a long time, too."

Before McLaren would spill the beans and divulge the method to Jimmerson's madness that faithful night at the McNichols Arena, he provided some narrative.

"He was nervous. He didn't want to do it," McLaren said, explaining how he was able to sign Jimmerson for UFC 1. "I flew out to St. Louis and I met with him. We had a conversation and we went back-and-forth, and finally he goes -- he's a really nice man, cheap mlb jerseys, he's a really good guy -- and he goes, I'm buying a house and I need a $15,000 down payment.' I said, I'll give you $15,000 to do the UFC.' He said, Okay, I'll do it.' Just like that."

"I really wanted a boxer," McLaren continued. "I was so naive, I thought Jimmerson was going to kill Royce. I don't mean beat him, I mean actually he might really injure him. If Royce weighed 165 pounds, he had four rolls of quarters in the gi pockets," McLaren continued sarcastically. "He didn't weigh 165 pounds. Maybe with the gi wet and someone else putting their toe was on the scale. I thought he was going to get knocked out. That's how wrong I was. That's how much I knew about it."

The St. Louis, Mo.,-based fighter had won 15 fights in a row prior to UFC 1 and McLaren was adamant in pointing out that Jimmerson was, "the highest-ranked, current, contemporary boxer to enter UFC. I think he was the eighth-ranked in the IBF at Cruiserweight. He was a real, real boxer."

Prior to the beginning of the fight, the telecast showed a promo video of a very confident Jimmerson. "I'm a pro boxer and that's how I'm going to win," he boasted. "Being a fighter, I punch hard, I'm fast and I'm quick. You can't hit what you can't see."

McLaren noticed Jimmerson, "was a different man walking out that night." What he didn't know, until referee "Big" John McCarthy gave up the ghost -- while the two were talking about the good ole days at Invcita FC 6 over the summer -- was the fact that a conversation took place prior to the now famous quarterfinal matchup between Gracie and Jimmerson.

McCarthy was not yet a referee at the inaugural UFC event -- he was there because he was a training partner of Gracie. Jimmerson was "pumping him for information," McLaren said, before dishing on the details of the backstage tete-a-tete.

"Big John said, 'you know what he's going to do to you right?'" McLaren said, re-telling the story he only recently became privy to. "Jimmerson said, what's he going to do?' and he was dancing around and doing boxing moves. Big John said, You ever get in a clinch in a boxing match?' Jimmerson said, yeah, the ref breaks it up.' Big John goes," In this they're not going to break it up when he grabs you. He's going to have his arms on you. They're not going to break that up. The ref doesn't break that up in this fight.' Jimmerson goes, what?' Big John said, "He's going to shoot in. He's going to grab you. You are going to get one chance to hit him, and if you miss, he's going to be all over you.' Jimmerson said, He's going to break my arm isn't he?' Big John said, nba jerseys wholesale,4.12 Man United 1 – 0 Arsenal- Ant Man United 1 – 0 Arsenal- Ant Man United 1 – 0 Arsenal- Ant, Yeah, he's going to break your arm.'

"That's when he decided to wear the one glove," McLaren revealed. "To make sure we could see him tapping with the other hand. Walking with him to the Octagon,<a name="http://www.gayanasamaja.org/poster.html">nba jerseys</a>, he said, 'If I tap with my glove hand, is it a still a tap?' That's when I knew it wasn't going to work out."

The pro boxer was practically a deer in headlights -- he never even threw a single punch. Neither did Gracie, who took down Jimmerson on the first attempt before immediately moving into the mount. The one-gloved pugilist from Missouri was at a worse disadvantage than he would've already been in because of not being able to grip with the hand that donned the boxing glove. He would submit little more than two minutes into the fight, losing officially by "position."

"This sheds new light on what Art figured out for himself," McLaren said. "Now, I know he was helped along in his realization by Big John."

Gracie went on to win the tournament and the $50,000 prize money, taking the first step toward the evolution process of modern MMA. Meanwhile, Jimmerson earned the dubious moniker of "One Glove" and the rest, as they say, is history.</html>

Batman- Arkham Origins Blackgate (PSV)

<html>The Batman: Arkham series has always utilized Metroidvania aspects in its gameplay, with a vast explorable world, progression based on weaponry and other tools, and a multitude of secrets to uncover. It was only natural, then, that the series' first portable outing, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, adopted the style in full. It also utilises a 2.5D level design similar to the popular XBLA Metroidvania romp Shadow Complex. While it falls short of pure perfection, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate is a worthy entry in both the series and its genre.

Taking place three months after the events of Batman: Arkham Origins, Blackgate begins with Batman hot on Catwoman's tail, tracking her as she maneuvers through the Gotham skyline. After succumbing to her pursuer, Catwoman is sent to Blackgate Prison with the rest of the psychopaths that Batman has gathered up. Predictably, an escape attempt by one of the inmates divides the prison into three sectors and in the hands of the Joker, the Penguin, and Black Mask. With Catwoman serving as his eyes and ears around Blackgate, Batman must put a stop to the three criminals before they can cause major damage to the city of Gotham and its inhabitants.

The story unfolds through a series of motion comics that look as though they've been taken right out of DC's own pages. Characters pop from the screen with great detail and lighting, with shadows and other lighting effects providing much of the motion for the cutscenes. While they certainly hold a high degree of detail, the motion comics themselves are rather lacking in terms of animation and leave much to be desired. It also doesn't help that the story itself is lackluster and very anticlimactic (much like Arkham Origins), which seems more concerned with setting up for a possible sequel than succeeding at leaving any lasting impact. The voice acting, to its credit, sees the same cast as that found in Batman: Arkham Origins, with great performances given by both Batman and the Joker in particular, though Catwoman's delivery is a bit weak and unenthusiastic, and the overall effect of the quality work is lost due to the after-taste of a highly mediocre story.

Where the story fails to live up to the Arkham namesake, the gameplay impresses enough to make up for it. Focus in combat still rests upon the Free Flow system that's helped the series become so popular, yet it's been tweaked to fit the 2.5D side-scrolling action. While you can't freely move into the foreground or background, nfl raiders jerseys,4.12 Fan Confidence Poll- November 11th, 2013 Fan Confidence Poll- November 11th, 2013 Fan Confidence Poll- November 11th, 2013, Batman will automatically attack enemies that do, allowing the fluidity of combat to remain intact. There are times when the hit detection is a little off, chicago bears apparel, with Batman's fist or foot passing through inmates, but ultimately it feels well polished and it remains fun to counter dozens of prisoners in one big engagement.

Unfortunately, Batman's repertoire of takedowns and gadgets is limited, which means that combat becomes somewhat of a dull affair towards the end of the game as there is no quick use of gadgets during encounters. The boss fights are creative and challenging, with the Joker, Penguin and Black Mask being especially fun and original, and there are also numerous mini bosses like Solomon Grundy that help to alleviate the end-game boredom. But it really doesn't help that Batman's predatory move set is so lacking (he's only really able to stalk his enemies from vantage points or from grates, with rare, scripted occurrences of the exploding gel being used for silent takedowns). On the whole, though it may not be as robust as the combat found in the console entries, the Free Flow system transitions very well to the portable medium, proving fun for the vast majority of the game.

Progression throughout Blackgate is governed by which gadgets you've collected in order to bypass certain security doors, enormous gaps, or other hazards. Much like almost any other Metroidvania styled title, you'll trek back and forth through the halls and cells of Blackgate, collecting gadgets or upgrades to get to your next objective. Finding these upgrades or discovering new passages will require Detective Vision, which is activated by tapping or holding the touch screen. Tapping the screen activates the ability, allowing you to see enemies and collectibles, while holding your finger on it lets you scan for grates, weak spots for explosive gel or the Batclaw, and hidden passages, detective cases, and items. Detective Cases give more back story on how each criminal escaped and took over their respective region of Blackgate,4.12 Why Briny Baird Is The PGA Tour's Biggest (lovable) Loser - Why Briny Baird Is The PGA Tour's Biggest (lovable) Loser - Why Briny Baird Is The PGA Tour's Biggest (lovable) Loser -, yet much like the main story, these narrative extracts are rather forgettable. Having to scan using the touch screen is also a bit bothersome, as those with giant bear paws for hands (like myself) may find it slightly difficult to see what they're scanning for.

As you run, climb, grapple, and glide your way through the game, you'll pick up mostly familiar gadgets, like the Batclaw and Line Launcher, as well as Exploding Gel which can now be shot over long distances. Hacking also plays a major part, but is different than on consoles; Batman needs to sift through a large grid of numbers to find a three digit pass-code. You'll be given one of the numbers that you need to match up to find the other two, so it's essentially a trial and error system. It's no better than having to find passwords by moving analog sticks, but it's certainly no worse either.

The leveling system is ditched in favour of item-based experienced, with each of the four gadgets (with Batarangs being the last) having a set number of upgrades to find. This will prove very polarizing. On one side of the coin, Blackgate's Metroidvania style is finely tuned and works extremely well with the best that Batman can offer. On the other side, it's hard to look past the absence of a leveling system and much of Batman's advanced weaponry that fans of the series have come to love in the console entries. However, as easy as it is to compare it to the rest of the series and look at Arkham: Origins Blackgate through a limited scope, the portable treatment allows for a complete and classic Metroidvania experience that's very entertaining.

Blackgate prison is broken up into four sections, with each as highly detailed as the next. The locales are typical of a prison setting, holding dark, dingy, and decrepit halls that span cell blocks, offices, and sewers taken over by the criminals and psychopaths. The 2.5D level design works very well, with seamless transitions around corners or doorways that lead into the foreground and background. Navigation can be a bit confusing at first with only a 2D map to go by, but once you get used to your surroundings and how the map works, it's easy to tell where you're going. The walls are decorated with hidden messages and taunts from the Joker, prison gates are torn down, and much of Blackgate lies in ruin - it's all fitting of the Dark Knight style.

Batman and his enemies, while having some rough edges and not being as impressive to look at as Blackgate itself, move very fluidly, and the aforementioned hit detection problems only occur when multiple enemies are on-screen. On the whole, Arkham: Origins Blackgate is an attractive game that makes the most of its handheld medium, even if some aspects could have benefited from additional work (like the jagged points on character models, and the general lack of action in the motion comic cut scenes).

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate proves to be a great portable entry in the Arkham series of games, and another welcome member of the Metroidvania genre. While series enthusiasts might find Batman and his utility belt a bit lacking due to the absence of certain gadgets and the lack of a proper leveling system, the item based progression and good amount of upgrades for Batman's gadgets, suit, and gauntlets do just about enough to make up for it during the 10-11 hour main story. With plenty of secrets to find that will yield different Batsuits with varying abilities, like the Blackest Night suit that makes Batman invulnerable, criminal-themed collectibles to smash that will take some time to find with the Detective Mode scanner, and a New Game+ mode that allows you to keep everything you've found and continue on to find the rest of the secrets and hidden areas in the game, authentic soccer jerseys, Arkham Origins Blackgate's flaws in terms of gameplay and story limitations are easy to look past.

Global tour not on horizon, says US PGA Tour chief Tim Finch

<html>There are lots of different ways to approach what the global competitive structure could be that are different than a World Tour. We feel like we are a ways away from all that.

Finchem was much more open to taking one of golf's four majors on a world tour in the near future. The US Golf Association has raised the prospect of playing the US PGA overseas within the next decade - the earliest it could happen would be in 2020 because of existing broadcasting contracts.
The Australian Tour has already put its hand up to host the fourth major on the calendar should the event go on the road.
I certainly don't have a knee-jerk reaction on the negative side if it is good for the PGA Championship and it is good for the world of golf, Finchem said.
The questions though that would need to be answered are where is it going to be played, how does it affect the calendar, etcetera.
But I don't think at the outset there are any restrictions on that. I think if the PGA wants to play it and, cheap nfl jerseys online, you know, they will talk to us and the other golf organisations before they do it and it can be done in a non-conflicted way, I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be considered.
Finchem also defended the US PGA Tour's impact on other countries, including Australia. Because of the structure of the PGA Tour schedule, colts jersey, a number of Australia's elite players elected to stay in America rather than play in the recently-completed Australian PGA Championship and Masters.
It is not in our interest if a tour is severely weakened and not moving in the right direction, Finchem said.
We believe that. So,chargers new jerseys,, we try to make decisions as much as possible consistent with that. It often comes across that it is not the case simply because we have our priorities also but ... hopefully the direction that golf has been moving in the last 20 years in more collaboration, more communication, more interface, more doing things together,‘Family Feud’ Contestant Chri, will pay off in that regard downstream.
As for the prospects of having more involvement with the Australian Tour, similar to what the US PGA Tour is doing in other parts of the world such as China, Finchem said: Australia is different. Australia has historically very strong elite player development. The difficulty for Australia is that a lot of the players because of the geography leave Australia for significant periods of time so they are not having as much time in Australia.
But Australia is really doing its job from the standpoint of elite player development. And nexus to the Web.com tour is probably not crucial to that.
The other thing I would say is Australians have historically demonstrated they know the way to the PGA Tour. They know the way to the Web.com Tour. They come in big numbers. They qualify. They make it and some of them move onto the PGA Tour. So I don't feel the same need there for that relationship.
