The Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller Vs The BOB Revolution Stroller

Okay, so you're stuck between the Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller, and the BOB Revolution Stroller. I can understand why, both of them are very well built, with comfortable child seats equipped with a 5-point child safety harness, and multiple seat reclining positions, adjustable rain/sun hoods, large under-seat storage, parking brakes, and running leashes. Both Jeep and also the BOB have excellent reviews as well. This could be a difficult decision, however, there are some unique features that set those two jogging strollers apart. Let's take a look, shall we?

First of all, the suspension systems. The Jeep Overland delivers a spring loaded suspension system, making to have an extremely smooth ride. The BOB Revolution delivers a shock absorbing suspension system, also smooth, however, the BOB's shock absorbers could be adjusted, based on terrain, and also the weight of your growing child. The BOB Revolution's max weight is 70 pounds, whereas the Jeep Jogger only goes up to 45 pounds. The BOB Revolution also weighs less, 23 pounds when compared with Jeep's 28 pounds. When you examine what all you get with that extra 5 pounds, it doesn't seem so bad, though five pounds may seem like a lot. The Jeep Overland Jogging Stroller comes along with loads of extra's including, a child snack tray with cup holder, a hand brake for anyone extra steep hills, a flexible handle with multiple heights and various angles, and also a parent tray with the iBaby sounds system that offers you and your child the ability to tune in to tunes around the trail. The parent tray also includes cup holders, and storage for keys, cell phone, etc. With all those extra's, it seems like quite a simple decision, however you can still find a couple extremely important key features to look at.

Number one, the front side wheels. The Jeep comes designed with a set front wheel, whereas the BOB offers a locking swivel front wheel. In order to do so, while the BOB Revolution simply turns on a dime, this means that when it comes to turning the Jeep Jogging stroller, you must pop-a-wheelie. The Jeep was designed for the "SERIOUS" runner, and the BOB was designed for the "ALMOST SERIOUS" runner,. That's the reason for this. Almost serious means, which you tell people you're venturing out for any jog, and you find yourself just walking really fast 80% of times. Hey... I'm not poking fun, I'm the "ALMOST SERIOUS, BUT NOT QUITE, BECAUSE I'M EXTREMELY LAZY" jogger. Therefore, the BOB Revolution will be more my style. I like being able to navigate through the grocery store easily. Alternatively, around tight corners without lifting the front end up. I enjoy because you can lock the top swivel wheel, and have the added comfort of a sturdy fixed wheel when I'm "ALMOST SERIOUS" about jogging. However, what I don't like about the BOB Revolution, is the price. The listing price for the Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller is $239.99, over 100 dollars less than the BOB Revolution, priced at $389.00. That is a huge difference. However, you must also keep in mind that the BOB' resale value is also through the roof. You can sell a second hand BOB for nearly the same price as you can purchase a new Jeep Overland. The BOB has a HUGE following. That's the reason for that. People like this jogging stroller. They claim it's like pushing air, light as a feather, and totally worth the extra cash. The Jeep also has excellent reviews, however I did look for a few complaints about the front wheel, apparently, a number of people purchased it without realizing the top wheel was fixed. I assume which may tick me off too.

If you are a "SERIOUS" runner, you may want to take a better look at the Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller, in conclusion. You may want to consider taking a loan out to buy the BOB Revolution Stroller if you're an "ALMOST SERIOUS" runner. Best of luck, hope it will help!
