"When you re told your child is given this kind of diagnosis, it s not something most people can relate to," Wolf said.
She told FOX 13 she and her husband valued support from friends, family and the community. Firefighter Mike Pease has served as a Badge Bowl organizer for ten years. He said support is key for battling cancer.
"Without friends and family to get you through it, to do it yourself, I dont even think it is possible."
The Tampa Police Department won the game. Final score: police 18, fire 6.
