I never had any experience in sales. For the majority of my grownup life, I worked in a family enterprise with a very small employee count, 4 people. That's right, 4 individuals. Follow the principle of 3, speak to no less than 3 individuals regular about your company. Usually have your Avon brochures with you, within your handbag, in your vehicle, in the stroller. Hint # 3... Be arranged. If you maintain your papers in a heap on your workplace, you will lose orders and lose customers. Constantly make sure that your order is submitted promptly. Keep an excel spreadsheet to keep track of which customers got which brochures. Once you have a big client base and get very active, it's important to keep an eye on this. Keep accounts organized so you can keep tabs on who is compensated entirely and who owes you money.
