I never had any experience in revenue. For the bulk of my grownup life, I worked in a family enterprise with a very little worker count, 4 individuals. That is right, 4 people. So, I was in a very protected, isolated environment. When this occupation was no more going to be in existence, I'd to find something different to do to earn money.

I found an Avon advertisement on t.v., and believed, why not? I fulfilled with a wonderful girl who would be my supervisor. I was initially very suspicious this would work, but I started slowly, handing out brochures to family and friends. They obviously placed requests, and so it started. Slowly my client base began to grow and I began to understand how to be a saleswoman. And so, here are my three tips to be a successful Avon Representative.

Tip no 1... Talk Avon everywhere you go. Take it up in most discussions with everyone. Discuss the jewellery you are sporting, the perfume you are sporting, the bag you are taking, because of class, they are all Avon. Follow the rule of 3, speak to at least three individuals regular about your business. Usually have your Avon brochures with you, inside your bag, in your vehicle, in the stroller. Obtain contact details, when speaking with people.

Tip number 2... Followup! It isn't enough to palm a book to somebody and expect them to contact you. Let's encounter it, YOU could love Avon, but they not remember to contact you and these people have a lifestyle. You should phone them and follow-up, if you want to have orders. Several days before my order gets posted, a general email reminder is sent by me to these customers who are on my email list, and for the customers who don't have email, I start calling when they would like something to find out. So many times people may say, oh I am so glad you called, I needed...

Tip # 3... Be arranged. If your papers are kept by you in a pile on your workplace, you will lose purchases and lose clients. Constantly ensure your order is submitted promptly. Keep an excel spreadsheet to keep tabs on which clients got which brochures. Whenever you get very active and have a large customer base, it's important to record this. Keep invoices organized so you may keep track of who owes money to you and who is compensated completely.
