A stroke is a serious medical emergency where the supply of blood to the brain is disrupted.Most of the cases,strokes happens when the blood clot blocks the blood supply to the brain.It can also happen when a weakened blood vessel that supplies the brain bursts and causes brain damage which is known as haermorrhagic stroke.

A mini stroke attackis similiar to a stroke but the symptoms only last for a short period.Due to the short period of symptoms many people are not aware that they have had mini stroke.

While not as serious as stroke,a mini stroke is a warning sign that you need to make changes to your lifestyle or start taking medication and usually both.If actions are not taken,mini stroke will go on to have a full blown stroke.
