Religion makes billions of tax-free dollars a year. They not only lie to you, but robs you blind financially. So in conclusion, religion is nothing more than mind-control to weaken the people and for the teachers of this false philosophy to get rich while they know the truth. Spirituality and religion are not exactly the same thing and many teens identify as spiritual people even though they don't practice a specific traditional religion. The difference between the two is that religion is more public. Spirituality is a private mental state defined largely by the individual.

The other reason that complicates and makes it difficult to write religion papers is the complicated religious documents such as the writings believed to have been written by men inspired by God like the Bible. However religion has made a major contribution towards the development of the human being. To put it very generally, religion is a set of rules that a certain sect of a society abides by. A religion has evolved through time, as theories based on empirical laws of our ancestors. In my opinion, a religion is a human quest for fundamental answers.

While the debate regarding the place of religion and religious education in public schools is a contentious and controversial one, the laws of separation of church and state do not forbid the instruction of religion as a course of study. However, in order to teach religion in public schools, a teacher must take an approach that is objective, respectful and based in informing rather than indoctrinating. Personally, I chose Christianity not as a religion (although I am a Christian) but as a relationship. Many times being a Christian is a religion and those who see it as such miss the whole point. Who are we to judge another man or woman for their religion and the way they choose to worship.
