Let me caveat, that I am not proficient at golf. I have been coached by Golftec and it has assisted a lot, yet I destination t been constant. Then, when I understand that I am not constant and I want to get better, I at all times get back to them. Damn you golf and your tricks to real me back in! ALA WAI GOLF COURSE Anyways, I wished to share my experience at Ala Wai Golf Course. I have only played two courses so far in Hawaii. I played at Honolulu Country Club by invite by my architect. Naturally, which was an extremely nice course that I probably won t return back to as of how bad I was. Yet, I have also played at Ala Wai Golf Course a number of times. It is a municipal course and I heard it's the busiest course in North America. I am not sure if that is true, yet please permit me know if you uncover. Part of what causes it to be the busiest course is that when there's a long wait, they play sixes. THAT S SIXES! Isn t that nuts?! It can take a minimum of 5-6 hours to play a round of 18 holes. That's on almost all days. So to combat that, I have played nine holes right prior to twilight hrs. This helps simply because individuals await for twilight fees previous to they play, so you in fact can play right before them when they've waited. In doing so, there isn t a long look forward to the golfers in front. And, it s not as hot! It could possibly get HOT! Basically, this is my last card that I played. I was with my friends Dan and Carson after we hit the driving range. It was right previous to twilight and we met a cool guy that plays there all the time. It is my best nine hole round. Please be aware that I did not do great, but I did not put up a snowman on the score sheet. Woohoo! I had two fairways and I was capable to drive the ball 230 yards. It was a fade, so I think I could possibly get at least another 20 yards if I straighten out. ALA WAI GREENS Fees On a cost related note, if you are living in Hawaii, GET YOUR ID and MUNI CARD! I pay 2-3 times more because I still don t have my Hawaii license. I absolutely get screwed, yet definitely it is my fault. I require to get my license ASAP to save on greens expenses. So tip to conserve cash, get your license. ALA WAI DRIVING RANGE The driving range is nice and convenient. You use fake grass mats, yet to get eighty golfballs, it is $6. That's definitely affordable. MY EQUIPMENT The equipment I rock are Ping G5 irons, 2 Taylormade Hybrids, and a Callaway Driver. I have an Odyssey mallet putter. My favorite is the Noodle Golfball for Effortless Distance. I don t have a fast swing but it assists straighten out the path of the ball. SUMMARY The Ala Wai Golf Course is an affordable course. Even though it takes sometime, that's just additional time to smoke a cigar and chat with friends.
