Polignostix – Electronic Music

Polignostix is a group of artists that releases a type of which they occasionally call density tech. Their electronic music is fluid across many genres most often within electronica. Although their type of of electronic music incorporates influences from styles like drum and bass or even hiphop, it's in total something of it's own.

Technically the music usually contains many small elements which in themselves are simple but usually get layered up to high amounts, which generally makes their music very dense. Although lots of the elements do not evolve, the music as whole does so constantly over the course of time.

The electronic music by Polignostix is typically built around sufficiently detailed, sometimes complex rhythms. Although the beats are often prominent, they never dominate the action and build rather a base, that the other probably more vital layers of musical elements are built on.

The atmosphere of the electronic music contains a many-faceted variance of sentiments including but not restricted to sinister, gloomy, gravely, sad on the one side but also positive, happy or even clownish, absurd on the other side.

The emotions are rarely tangible in a simple manner, they rather morph into each other to a varying degree. No matter which atmosphere is the dominating one, the music is more often than not penetrated by a deep yet ungraspable melancholy.

The production of the music is completely realized by Polignostix, including mastering, mixing, sound design and composing.They also produce the accompanying the actual music. But the music works nicely without the videos and does after all have a higher priority to the group.

Additionally to the and videos, which are the core of the creative work, Polignostix also provides a blog on their homepage which is called Poliblog. The topics of this blog are selected in accordance with its tagline: Love & Hugs & Punches. However, the content is only loosely tight to the tagline or in a way the reader may not understand immediately. Content wise the blog entries are mostly made of pictures or videos with additional notes.
