Windansea Beach

Past every one of La Jolla's ritzy homes, hotels, and well

known restaurants, lies Windansea Beach. Down the

on hot summer days. With sandstone cliffs, a sandy

beach, and amazing surf breaks, Windansea Beach has

been a popular surfing worry as far back whilst the 1940s

and a gathering place of the Windansea Surf Club because

World War 2 is now a Hillcrest Historic site. The

beach can be perfect for body surfing and snorkeling.

The north end of Windansea is rather rugged, using the

south being sandier, great for walking over the border

of the water. You may also like a picnic in the

grass alongside the beach and bask in the splendid views

of the Pacific Ocean.

At Windansea Beach, you will find no restrooms. During

the summertime, lifeguards are stationed all along

the beach, even in certain weekends of spring and fall.

You will find surf zones and individual swim at the beach,

Without any wheelchair access. When you visit, you can

park on the street or take to the tiny individual lot near

the beach.

Getting to the beach

You can find Windansea around 6800 Neptune Place.

From the north, follow I-5 south towards the Genesee

Method leave then head west. Turn left on Torrey Pines

Road and follow the road in to downtown La Jolla.

Turn left on Girad Avenue then have a right on Pearl

Neighborhood. Have a left onto Manhattan project Jolla Boulevard then

make the best on Street and your there.

From the south, follow I-5 north for the Ardath Road

Leave, Ardath Road will become Torrey Pines Road. Just take

a from Torrey Pines Road onto Girad Avenue.

Create a right onto Pearl Street then take a left onto

Manhattan project Jolla Boulevard. Take the right on Nautilus

Street and your there.
