Kiddies-Today-68832

Today's college students tend to be more narcissistic and self-centered than their predecessors and the trend might be bad for personal relationships and American society. This history continues to be spreading like wild fire. Children are on Myspace. Kiddies use Facebook. Time Man of the Year is 'You' (the person). If we do not like our teachers, we may blog. If we don't like our jobs, We are able to blog. If we don't like our lives, the folks around us, the entire world around us, we could blog. We apparently have coddled these children. We told them they're specific. We've made them narcissistic. And now we're to believe that of That is going to break down their power to be social? To live and work together? Grab the very fabric of social order? It is a phase, individuals. The kids are fine. It is yet another generational thing. I would like to remind you what a few previous generations lived through, what they were described and how they drove 'the adults' only a little mad. Peace, Love, Dope (Hippies..free love) Ban the Bomb (Anti-nuclear proliferation) Hell No! We will perhaps not go! (Anti-war activists) Activate, Tune in, Drop out (Anti-society's rules) Do not trust anybody over 30 (Anti-parents and the organization) Keep on Truckin' (Stay in tune, but mellow) I am OK, You are OK (Self-help is OK) Followed by... The ME generation Greed is good/Think Rich Era X Technology B This generation has had the move to being self-centered and being described by the media, companies and people that they have affected one of the most. This generation is eliminating newspapers. That generation gets its information from the Internet, friends or alternative Options. This generation is sharing music rather than buying music. This technology is seeing less network TV. This era is playing game titles more and enthusiastic about taking part in activities less. That generation's top TV show is a national karaoke contest. This generation has recognized that reality TELEVISION shows are real entertainment. This generation has a voice. Their particular. This generation does not send letters. This era is connected. (Mobile phones, Internet, e-mails) These kids have been put by us through our very own divorces, sex after Aids, the acceptance of special-interest groups. We tell them the national debt is yours, war on terror will last past your technology and that whenever you retire You will have no social security or silver by the end of-the spectrum. And that Is the reason why they've tuned us out. Just like the kid who's planted facing mlm lead generation his video game and called to dinner, we have to manage the fact, we've been told 'Whatever'! From the technology we created.
