This past weekend, Minnie's makeover took full stage as she rocked the runway show at Disneyland Paris on Saturday in a designer dress. Not Dolce & Gabbana or Balmain, but Lanvin. Lanvin's Alber Elbaz reported designed a long-sleeve blue cocktail dress for the legendary fashionista. A far cry from Minnie's polka dot number, the cocktail dress features padded shoulders and a pink sequined hat.
According to the Christian Science Monitor, Minnie's new look is a 'more mature frock' that she can wear at special Paris events. 'Walt Disney was the one that actually designed Minnie. It's the first time an actual designer has come into the picture and designed a dress for her,' Lanvin's designer Alber Elbaz told The Associated Press. 'It was a great challenge and responsibility to do. I just wanted her to shine... I wanted to give her a crown in red, and the dress in blue, (a signature) for Lanvin.'
One: DO NOT mix and match the patterns! One pattern at a time! For instance, zebra shirts with a cheetah skirt, or vise versa, (even if they are the exact same shade of color in background) don't do this, ever. Two: DO NOT wear any clothing with a light colored zebra pattern in the background. This is okay, but not exactly the style. Remember that this style is meant to be fierce, and a light color doesn't give that impression. Zebra with dark red, blue, pink is wonderful!Three: DO NOT over do the style! For example, don't have crazy hair, or long red nails, or even zebra or cheetah nails! Use one pattern at a time. These styles add an edge to your clothing and fashion, but remember ladies, that you are elegant and beautiful; you don't literally want to appear as one of these animals. Four: DO NOT: When dressing casual, example a zebra T-shirt, don't add to many colors. That means no colored shorts, skinny jean, etc. It is better to add a plain color. Maybe even a color that will work with anything, such as black. Five: DO NOT: If you have a zebra shirt that literally resembles a zebra (white and black), still don't wear colored bottoms, just wear black, everything else will make the style look overdone.
Though it is an attractive proposition to use zebra linens in the nursery, yet those without experience in purchasing baby bedding find it difficult to reach a decision regarding the color and style while selecting the best crib for their little girl.
