As you delve more and more in to the Book of Hebrews, you'll discover anything you have never seen before: namely, the composer of Hebrews is more emphatic than every other Bible author about one important theme; God wrote all of the Old Testament Scriptures.

That publisher estimated at the very least thirty-one Old Testament Scriptures in the book of Hebrews. Even when he knew the name of the human instrument that God used to create scripture protection, this author talked like the Scripture was published by God himself. For him, God wrote the Old Testament with no utilization of an individual device though He used them.

When you examine this book, look for the aforementioned attribute throughout. This will be such a fantastic advantage for you. Why can?t contemporary historians, pastors, academics and educators have exactly the same view of (and regard for) the Holy Scriptures as this specific, Godly writer of Hebrews?

Here is only a sample of the Old Testament Scriptures the writer quoted in the Book of Hebrews. In each and every case, our author of Hebrews declared that God wrote each Scripture, even though they had individual penmen. See below how he demonstrates that God wrote them.

Heb 1:5
5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this very day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he'll be if you ask me a Son? (KJV)

Two Old Testament Scriptures are quoted here, Ps. 2: 7 and 2 Samuel 7: 14. David wrote the Psalm; Samuel wrote one that bears his name. But notice how our author demonstrated that God himself wrote those two Old Testament Scriptures for us; consider the appearance,?said he. ??

In other words, the Hebrews writer often cited the Old Testament in such a way as to leave no doubt: God wrote the Old Testament. Above, he used the phrase,?he said? for?God said. ?? Notice, nevertheless, that he never remotely implied that both David or Samuel said anything in this verse. With this writer, the Old Testament was written by God.

Now, look at the next verse, Hebrews 1: 6. We shall see the same thing.

Heb 1:6
And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten in to the world, he saith, And let all of the angels of God worship him. (KJV)

This verse is a quotation from Dt. 32: 34. Discover here also the phrase,?he saith. ?? Again, the author never implied that Moses wrote the aforementioned Scripture. Through the use of?he saith? as he did above, he again reveals his opinion that God wrote it. For him, God penned all Old Testament Scripture.

Heb 1:7
7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
(KJV)

The above mentioned verse rates Psalms 104: 4. But notice! He used?he saith? again. To this writer, God composed this Psalm also. Why cannot modern authors, preachers and theologians have exactly the same confidence that God was the author of Scripture?

Now begin to see the next two Old Testament Scriptures offered below.

Heb 1:8
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness may be the sceptre of thy kingdom. (KJV)

Heb 1:13
But to which of the angels said he whenever you want, Take a seat on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? (KJV)

Recognize?he saith? in line 8 over and?said he? in line 13 above. With this author, God authored the Old Testament. What a thrill to begin to see the structure for modern scholarship so clearly presented. Hebrews could be the most uncommon New Testament book.

Following a lead from your writer of Hebrews, Scripture was and still stands compiled by God himself. As a result, you can believe and rely on what it says. Furthermore, when you're troubled by what a certain Scripture means, ask yourself,?What does this Scripture say?? You will, then, have the answer from what it means.

Ultimately, Paul summed it-up for people. He said?God breathed? all Scripture to profit us in at the very least six parts. Locate them on your own benefit within the passages below.

2 Tim 3:16-17
16 All scripture is distributed by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the person of God may be ideal, throughly furnished unto all good works.
(KJV)

God wrote it along With His own breath despite the fact that He used human tools. Therefore, you can trust it. You can remain about it. You are able to step-out on it. He said what He meant to say inside. What does a Scripture mean? This means whatsoever that Scripture says.
