Just to confuse concerns, the districts in Pattaya are topsy-turvy, with central Pattaya getting explained as north and south Pattaya explained as central! It is the sub-districts which trigger the confusion as they refer to Pattaya Seashore and not particularly to the total of Pattaya alone. Pattaya Nua lies adjacent to the northern end of Pattaya Seaside. Pattaya Tai lies to the south of Pattaya Beach and Pattaya Klang is the area of Pattaya which corresponds with the centre of Pattaya Seaside. This division of districts is a local convention, often ignored formally which is in which the confusion comes in. Naklua which lies to the north of North Pattaya is properly served by local buses and is a particularly common location for German visitors.
