For those just getting started on Twitter, or even if you have an existing account, here are a few problems you need to be aware of. Twitter is great for building both personal and business relationships. If not used properly it can also cause problems. In this article we are going to discuss common mistakes people make with their Twitter account.
Problem 1 - No Followers
When you have no followers, it's hard to get new followers. Right off the bat you come off as “uninteresting” if you don't have any followers. The Twitter universe doesn't care if your account was just created and that's the reason why you have no followers. The unfortunate reality is, the folks who use Twitter are often picky about who they follow back. There are a couple of ways in which to remedy this problem. We discovered jump button by browsing Google. You can take the time, sometimes months, to organically grow your following or you can purchase blocks of followers. Purchasing Twitter followers essentially gives you a quick boost of your Twitter reputation. As crazy as it sounds, this gives potential followers in your niche an incentive to follow you back. While this may seem pretty lame, it's the reality of how Twitter users operate.
Problem 2 - You Tweet Too Much
If you want to lose Twitter followers fast then tweet..a lot. This is sometimes called “feed raping”, when an over enthusiastic account tweets almost every mundane event in their life, every single minute of the day. Businesses, in particular new businesses just getting started on Twitter, have a very bad habit of this. Their unending desire to be seen on Twitter causes them to tweet about every special they currently have, every special they are going to have, @ mentions to customers, every piece of news, their personal views on things, etc. etc. etc. It's non-stop with some users. Keep your tweets to no more than 8 per day..and that's a maximum. Overtweeting simply makes it easier for your followers to ignore your message. I mean there's really no difference in that, and car alarm going off..people tend to ignore both.
Problem 3 - No Tweets
This is just as bad..if not worse..then tweeting too much. You can't expect to keep people interested if you rarely tweet anything. Make your posts engaging, ask for feedback, post something that will incite your followers to reply, keep it interesting, maybe even a little entertaining. Sending out one tweet per day is the bare minimum. At least try to do this, and at the same time, avoid sending out too many.
Problem 4 - Excessive “Thanking”
Mentioning or thanking too much is pointless. You don't get many kudos from the people you are acknowledging and you end up annoying everyone else. Think about it like this, when you do a mention like that, you are essentially clogging up your follower's feeds with useless drivel. I'm not trying to be rude, but the reality is, no one else cares when you get a new follower. So save the mentions and thanks for times when they are needed.
Problem 5 - You Tweet Nothing Of Value To Your Followers
Here's a tip..if your website is about pet products, your Twitter account is about pet products, you are targeting followers who are interested in pet products..then don't tweet about the latest iPhone release. This is what would be considered a completely useless tweet for your followers. Dig up further on an affiliated link - Visit this web site: inside how to get more real twitter followers.
