According to a July 25 post from MMA Junkie, Liz Carmouche thinks Ronda Rousey will beat Miesha Tate at UFC 168. Carmouche, who fights Jessica Andrade on July 27 at UFC on FOX 8, wasn't exactly taking a personal jab at Tate. Girl-rilla" knows that Tate is a talented athlete, but she foresees Rousey emerging from UFC 168 with her hand raised. Simply put, she believes Rousey has the tools to get her second straight victory over "Cupcake," whether it be via armbar or another method. But it doesn't change that fact that he's a great fighter, and it doesn't change that fact that I want to fight Anderson Silva."

I believe Chris Weidman will destroy him again," Sonnen said. "This is not a knock on Anderson Silva; he's an awesome fighter. And he's had an amazing career. But in the history of boxing, in the history of MMA, a rematch has never favored the older fighter. You're talking about a decade of an age difference. It's very, very unrealistic to believe that Anderson is going to win that rematch. This is not to say he can't do it, but it's unrealistic to see how that's going to happen. Sonnen then took it upon himself to throw a little insult Rogan's way, as he ripped into the comedian's age.

A problem with BJJ fighters is they start MMA much later in their career, in their 30's. We never see them at their athletic prime like we did on their BJJ championship runs. But if they cut their BJJ career early, we would also not consider them a true representative of the sport. But then again there are the BJ Penns who won just one World Championships then went immediately to MMA at a very young age. As BJJ becomes more lucrative, it will be interesting if the transition to MMA becomes as appealing. Roger Gracie was actually discouraged by his family to go into MMA.

Guillard is a tricky guy. One fight, he looks like he could be the next champion, but then he lays an egg his next time out. Guillard had one of his outstanding performance against Danzig. How good he looked in that fight really showed as he has quickly moved from a fight where he was fighting for his job to a co-main event slot. Guillard trained with Grudge for that fight after moving on from the Blackzilians, but he has once again changed camps for this fight. How that camp went will have a huge impact on the outcome of this fight.

Weidman is now UFC middleweight champion only ten fights into his MMA career and there is no doubt that he is the real deal. With a changing of the guard in the middleweight division, this will open up the division for a run of fresh match ups. The reality is that Weidman being champion is best for the UFC in the long run. Despite the loss, Silva's legacy will remain. In fact, should he lose his next fight his legacy will still go untarnished. Silva's loss is just a reminder that when you fight the best in the world it is not if you will lose but only when.
