Man, 19, and pregnant wife charged in shooting death of MSP

<html>IRONS A 19-year-old man has been charged with murder in .Eric Knysz is charged with murder of an officer as well as three other crimes. His wife, Sarah Knysz, 21, faces two charges related to driving away from the scene. Charges against the pair were filed Wednesday in Mason County District Court.Police tracked the pair to a store following the shooting of Trooper Paul Butterfield Monday evening in Mason County.Magistrate Patricia Baker says Sarah Knysz is due in court Wednesday. Eric Knysz was injured while exchanging gunfire with police. He?s in a hospital but is expected to appear in court Thursday.Eric's father, John Knysz, spoke with WZZM 13 off camera. He apologized for his son's alleged actions and added that the family is incredibly remorseful. John is a former police officer who worked for several years in the Chicago area.Family friend Demo Moore said Eric had a job as a tree trimmer and had just moved into a new home.RELATED: Moore had hoped Eric's brushes with the law were over.
