Tracy Families Worried They’ll Be Spending Thanksgivin
<html>TRACY (CBS13) ― It’s been nearly a month since eight Tracy families were forced from their homes when a tree came crashing down on their apartment building, and some may be faced with Thanksgiving in a hotel room.
Six of the eight families displaced will be able to move back in this week, but two families are worried they won’t be home for the holidays.

But she and her young children have had no choice, forced to live in a cramped hotel room for at least four weeks.
“They can t even give me an answer when I can go home,” she said. “I want to know.”
It was a few days before Halloween when a tree came crashing down on a building at the Tracy Village Apartments. The city deemed it too dangerous to occupy, because of the damage. CBS13 caught up with the property manager who surprised us with the good news that six apartments are good to go. But two units, including Laverne’s weren’t ready.
“That s depending on the construction and on the city, so as soon as all the permits and everything are done with the city we ll be able to get everything done,” said property manager David Brooks.
He told us he didn’t have a time frame for that.

The property manager said its up to the construction company if the family can get their winter clothes from the building.
So for now, Laverne and her family are stuck in a hotel room, hoping it’s not the setting of her Thanksgiving holiday.

Members of the group have responded by making their own versions of the adverts after Ronaldo's one-man show in Stockholm. The drinks manufacturer said: 'We would never want to put the sport or the spirit of competition in a negative light. 'We regret if people were offended by the posts; they were immediately taken down. We would like to extend our apologies to all concerned.'
