Ostrow completed his pre-med training at The John Hopkins University, then earned his D. O. degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. After completing his Rotating Internship at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, he served as Chief Resident in Family Practice at Interboro General Hospital in Brooklyn.

Dr . Ostrow has lectured extensively, at the national and international level, on many aspects of osteopathic medicine and diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal problems.

As a Board Certified Family Practice physician, Dr . Gary Ostrow is a Diplomate of the National Board of Examiners for Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of General Practice, and a Fellow of the American Osteopathic Board of General Practice.
