In our challenging economy these days, we’ve heard it stated over and over that small business is the backbone of the American economy. There are several business owners who produce the small enterprises which make up America and while they can not employ 1000s of individuals, they still generate work and career possibilities for others. William Jegen himself has experience creating numerous businesses and business possibilities.
William Jegen is a graduate of Purdue University and has dedicated his working career to the finance industry. Previous to he initiated founding his own fund related businesses he was working for other finance businesses. One of his greatest personal employment experiences came from the Chicago Board of Trade. In total, William Jegen has 2 decades worth of fund related experience and nearly half came from the CBOT.
From 1998 to 2006 William Jegen worked there, but it was in 2002 that he joined the Dow Jones Futures committee. Via his committee involvement, it was William Jegen’s responsibility to retain trading rights for the Chicago Board of Trade. He traded numerous products and commodities and gradually worked his way up the position of Chairman of the Dow Jones Futures Pit in 2004.
After leaving Dow Jones and the CBOT, William Jegen created numerous fund related businesses including Power Managed Futures Fund LLC. Another relatively recent creation of William Jegen’s is WJ Trading, where he has held the position of President for the past 4 yrs. Each business that William Jegen creates pulls from his working experience in the fund field.
Another business creation of William Jegen’s is Power Energy Partners LP. William Jegen is CEO of Power Energy Partners and the company moves crude oil to numerous markets by unit train. William Jegen maintains his credibility as a business creator by affiliating his businesses with the Chicago Board of Trade along with other professional organizations. He has been a CBOT member for 15 years.
William Jegen has led a really profitable life. He has dedicated his career to the field of finance. Not just has he worked in the finance industry, but he has created several businesses in the industry also. It is his capability to begin and run a profitable business that defines William Jegen’s career currently.
Like quite a few successful people these days, William Jegen earned his start as a university student. William Jegen’s years of schooling assisted prepare him for this company leader he would one day become. He graduated from Purdue University and while a student was a proud member of the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity. His fraternity membership meant that William Jegen had to maintain a high GPA and perform a number of community activities.
After he finished his training, William Jegen became associated with the business planet. He chose specifically to get involved in finance. For nearly a decade, William Jegen worked for the Chicago Board of Trade. He was part of Dow Jones Futures committee and in 2002, was accountable for retaining rights for the Chicago Board of Trade. William Jegen’s hard work and leadership abilities impressed his superiors and he was elevated to the position of Chairman of the Dow Jones Futures Pit in 2004.
It was just a number of short yrs later that William Jegen left CBOT to become an entrepreneur. He has created several fund related businesses. He's the founder of Power Managed Futures Fund LLC and is President of WJ Trading LLC, which he created 4 years ago. Another business that William Jegen created and goes on to run as CEO is Power Energy Partners LP. William Jegen employs the firm to ship crude oil from storage to many buyer markets around the country. To keep on the growth of his businesses, William Jegen maintains his membership with the Chicago Board of Trade and attains essential assets for his business to meet customer requires.
