The Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller Vs The BOB Revolution Stroller

Okay, so you're stuck in between the Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller, and also the BOB Revolution Stroller. I will see why, both are very well built, with comfortable child seats equipped with a 5-point child safety harness, and multiple seat reclining positions, adjustable rain/sun hoods, large under-seat storage, parking brakes, and running leashes. Both the Jeep as well as the BOB have excellent reviews also. This might be a tricky decision, however, there are some unique features that set those two jogging strollers apart. Let's take a look, shall we?

First, of all, the suspension systems. The Jeep Overland offers a spring loaded suspension system, that makes for the extremely smooth ride. The BOB Revolution offers a shock absorbing suspension system, also smooth, however, the BOB's shock absorbers may be adjusted, based on terrain, and also the weight of your own growing child. The BOB Revolution's max weight is 70 pounds, whereas the Jeep Jogger only increases to 45 pounds. The BOB Revolution also weighs less, 23 pounds in comparison to Jeep's 28 pounds. When you examine what all you get with that extra 5 pounds, it doesn't seem so bad, though five pounds may seem like a lot. The Jeep Overland Jogging Stroller comes along with plenty of extra's including, a young child snack tray with cup holder, a hand brake for anyone extra steep hills, a flexible handle with multiple heights and various angles, in addition to a parent tray having an iBaby sounds system that offers both you and your child the ability to tune in to tunes around the trail. The parent tray also includes cup holders, and storage for keys, mobile phone, etc. With those extra's, it appears as if a fairly simple decision, however you may still find a couple very important key features to look at.

Number one, the top wheels. The Jeep comes designed with a set front wheel, whereas the BOB offers a locking swivel front wheel. This means that when it comes to turning the Jeep Jogging stroller, you must pop-a-wheelie in order to do so, while the BOB Revolution simply turns on a dime. The reason for this is that the Jeep was designed for the "SERIOUS" runner, and the BOB was designed for the "ALMOST SERIOUS" runner. Almost serious means, that you tell people you're going out for any jog, and you end up just walking really fast 80% of times. Hey... I'm not poking fun, I'm the "ALMOST SERIOUS, BUT NOT QUITE, BECAUSE I'M EXTREMELY LAZY" jogger. Therefore, the BOB Revolution could be more my style. I like being able to navigate through the grocery store easily. Alternatively, around tight corners without lifting the front end up. I love the fact that you can lock the front swivel wheel, and possess the added comfort of a sturdy fixed wheel when I'm "ALMOST SERIOUS" about jogging. However, what I don't like about the BOB Revolution, is the price. The listing price for your Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller is $239.99, over 100 dollars lower than the BOB Revolution, priced at $389.00. That is a huge difference. However, you must also keep in mind that the BOB' resale value is also through the roof. You are able to sell a pre-owned BOB for almost the same price as possible purchase a new Jeep Overland. The BOB has a HUGE following. That's the reason for that. People love this jogging stroller. They are saying it's like pushing air, light as being a feather, and totally worth the extra cash. The Jeep also has excellent reviews, however I did locate a few complaints concerning the front wheel, apparently, some people purchased it without realizing the front wheel was fixed. I assume which may tick me off too.

In conclusion, if you are a "SERIOUS" runner, you may want to take a better look at the Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller. If you're an "ALMOST SERIOUS" runner, you may want to consider taking a loan out to buy the BOB Revolution Stroller. All the best, hope this helps!
