A Review of Musicnotes - Digital Written music Dealer

sheetmusicbot - Are you an artist? Can you find the sheet music you want? If you are similar to me, then the answer is no. Even though the town I live in isn't that small, there still isn't a large selection of stores in terms of music. There is only 1 small music store which i go to (and only on rare occasions) when I need something immediately, like guitar strings for example.

sheet music bot - When I are interested to buy sheet music though, that little shop isn't much help. There is certainly only a small selection of written music for the most popular genres and many popular instruments. If you wish to play Beethoven piano arrangements then you are fine, but if you want something different then you are out of luck.

sheetmusicbot - I could not find what I wanted within my area, so shopping on the web was my only alternative. After trying different online sheet music dealers I finally discovered one that I really liked-Musicnotes. This site offered instant digital sheet music and I thought it sounded cool, but wasn't sure how "digital" music works.

I realized that it was really easy to make it happen though. In order for a digital sheet music to work, you do need to have special sheet music software, but you can download that free of charge on the Musicnotes website. After downloading the disposable software I began searching through the music database. It had been completely different from my local music store!

This website has thousands of songs to download the sheets for, as well as in many different genres. The caliber of the site is great and that i have never had interest in buying from a local store again. You can easily buy exactly what I would like and I don't need to leave the house. I can locate a song, download the written music, and learn it straight away.

At first I was leery concerning the musicnotes player software, however love it! It has many features which help you to learn songs for example being able to transpose, change the tempo, or learn one section of the song at a time.

The sole downside I can see with this program is that you have to be on a computer for these features to work. But, if you want you can print off of the sheet music like you would. Since I use a digital piano, I usually just slide that up next to my computer so i could use the software though, it really is a big help.
