A Review of Musicnotes - Digital Written music Dealer
sheetmusicbot.com - Are you a musician? Can you find the written music you want? If you are similar to me, then the answer is no. Even though town I live in isn't that small, there still is not a large selection of stores with regards to music. There is only 1 small music store i go to (and only on rare occasions) after i need something immediately, like guitar strings for example.
sheet music bot - When I are interested sheet music though, that little shop isn't much help. There's only a small selection of sheet music for the most popular genres and many popular instruments. In order to play Beethoven piano arrangements then you're fine, but if you want something different then you are out of luck.
sheet music - I couldn't find what I wanted within my area, so shopping on the web was my only alternative. After trying different online written music dealers I finally discovered one that I really liked-Musicnotes. This site offered instant digital written music and I thought it sounded cool, but wasn't sure how "digital" music works.
I found out that it was really easy to get it done though. In order for the digital sheet music to work, you do need to have special written music software, but you can download that for free on the Musicnotes website. After downloading the free software I began searching through the music database. It was completely different from my local music store!
This website has thousands of songs to download the sheets for, as well as in many different genres. The caliber of the site is great and i also have never had interest in purchasing from a local store again. It is easy to buy exactly what I'd like and I don't even need to leave the house. I can look for a song, download the sheet music, and learn it straight away.
At first I was leery concerning the musicnotes player software, the good news is love it! It has many features which help you to learn songs such as being able to transpose, change the tempo, or learn one section of the song at a time.
The only downside I can see with this program is that you need to be on a computer of these features to work. But, if you want you can print from the sheet music like you normally would. Since I use a digital piano, I usually just slide that up next to my computer in order to use the software though, it is actually a big help.
