Children know very well what makes you tick and just what humors you. They will try things to test you, that is why I emphasize on maintaining rules overall.

A good parent in my opinion is considered as one who can present her child just how much it is loved, person who can discipline the child, one who can be trusted and something who shows respect. A young child that is shown respect easily returns the favor.

I really believe in teaching morals and setting rules for youngsters. A child that has rules to adhere to in most cases turns out to be the child with more respect. When i state rules I do not mean rules which can be set at a correctional facility for inmates. I will be speaking about basic rules and morals in the home to develop that child to the citizens we admire today.

promoting intelligence - Setting a bedtime to your child at an early age and staying with it is the start of showing good parenting skills. In this way children will understand that bed time is 8:00 or 8:30pm which is final.

Here are a few basic parenting tips that will assist you to maintain good parenting skills:

Never promise your child that you will attend his football game or her dance recital and also you did not show up. This will make your child doubt your trust.

Never give a punishment and do not follow through. For e.g. you said there will be no video games for this week when the middle of the week the kid is playing the games since you allowed it. This child already realized you cannot keep your word. It'll create a lack of trust which could cause problems in the future.

Both dad and mom should be on the same page when coming up with a decision about your child. One parent should not be saying yes and the other parent saying no. This will create animosity involving the child and the parent who said no.

Sculpture - You don't want to buy our child's love. As we implement the right policies and hang standards he will adore you for what you are a symbol of. Before you know it he will come to understand that what you are doing is within his best interest.
