A Review of Musicnotes - Digital Sheet Music Dealer

sheet music - Are you an artist? Can you find the sheet music you want? If you are at all like me, then the answer is no. Although the town I live in is certainly not small, there still is not a large selection of stores when it comes to music. There is only 1 small music store i go to (and only on rare occasions) after i need something immediately, like post for example.

sheetmusicbot.com - When I are interested sheet music though, that little shop isn't much help. There's only a small selection of sheet music for the most popular genres and many popular instruments. If you want to play Beethoven piano arrangements you are fine, but if you want something different then you are out of luck.

sheet music bot - I couldn't find what I wanted within my area, so shopping online was my only alternative. After trying different online written music dealers I finally found one that I really liked-Musicnotes. This website offered instant digital sheet music and I thought it sounded cool, but wasn't sure how "digital" music works.

I found out that it was really easy to do it though. In order for the digital sheet music to work, you do need to have special written music software, but you can download that for free on the Musicnotes website. After downloading the free software I began searching through the music database. It had been completely different from my local music store!

This site has thousands of songs to download the sheets for, as well as in many different genres. The grade of the site is great and i also have never had interest in buying from a local store again. It is easy to buy exactly what I'd like and I don't even have to leave the house. I can find a song, download the written music, and learn it immediately.

At first I was leery in regards to the musicnotes player software, however love it! It has many features which help you to learn songs for example being able to transpose, change the tempo, or learn one section of the song at a time.

The only downside I can see with this particular program is that you must be on a computer because of these features to work. But, if you want you can print off the sheet music like you would. Since I use a digital piano, I usually just slide that up close to my computer in order to use the software though, it really is a big help.
