Finlandia Vodka is currently accepting recipes for the annual Bloody Mary recipe contest. Finlandia is searching for recipes that have unique elements that make your Bloody Mary a beverage, In 2013. The grand-prize winner will get $1,000 and special recognition when Finlandia attempts to create the world's greatest Bloody Mary drink.
"What better way to celebrate the Bloody Mary than by creating the world's biggest glass of it?" Meador said. "Whoever wins this year's contest may get to work with our mixologists to determine their recipe in to the world's largest Bloody Mary. And then, needless to say, we'll all need to help drink it."
The Bloody Mary cocktail has experienced a revival in recent years. Once regarded as only for luncheon, it's now offered throughout the day at bars, restaurants and in people's homes.
The Bloody Mary was initially created in 1930 and became a genuine common beverage among Americans. It's the second-most consumed drink besides beer at sports and tailgates gatherings today, making vodka a well known nature for entertaining o-r honoring.
