In my driveway is often a car that's almost as old as i am. A 19 year outdated Honda Accord automatic that's still in possession of the healthy amount of poke and ABS brakes. It was a Ford dealership, and with a forecourt packed with sleek, shining and above almost all modern models it wasn't some time before I was forced to come up with an excuse for taking off for a day by myself. I already knew that in a very Honda, Glasgow traffic was only a slight inconvenience rather than the infuriating hindrance that this became in other designs. I had received amazing service from my aging Accord, but the time had come to create a choice. I was in the ideal place to make a decision about the future of my driving occupation.

Reader, I chose a brand new Honda Accord. There are more bells and whistles in this car than I know what to do with, and every passenger so far has been unable to avoid saying "ooh, that's fancy" when they put on the seat. The ride quality is outstanding, and I couldn't be happier. Needless to say my friends were a little confused when I rocked up following a day of alleged shopping in a brand new car, but after a fast spin they understood my causes of purchase!
