My First Car - Pimpin My Ride 828425701998

I pimped my first car by accident: virtually by accident. My first car was a 1971 dodge competition and I was driving home from the lake when I spun out and dented the wheel on a cement island. When I ordered the car it included the stock wheels and the tires were fairly used. I needed to displace the damaged wheel anyway so why not go all the way and get yourself a whole new set. Because the wheels were slightly greater then the originals I had need some new treads as well. This was to function as the first of many bills I'd include with this car. Most of which inturn were not of the pimping type.

I purchased a set of 5 talked chrome wheels and some Goodrich radials. I was an adolescent just out of school so I had a restricted budget, which I'd just used. Money from a suit each time a vehicle trimmed me: but that's yet another story. Anyway I loved how a new wheels appeared. After a couple of days I noticed that the remainder of the car looked only a little plain when compared with those glowing rims. I went out and purchased some pin stripping tape and got to work. Many sheets later and just before my hands seized up I'd a good group of pinstripes. I was really pleased with myself, especially because I was a rank amateur at any such thing automotive. So I gave myself a pat on the trunk jumped within my bright rolling flag striped experience and set a good long patch of rubber to enjoy.

It wasn't jt foxx a long time before I noticed that the inside was looking somewhat dull set alongside the outside. I liked the stock three-spoke steering wheel but decided to go with a new refined wood steering wheel. I came across some good seat covers and finished the inside transformation. A valuable thing I'd squeezed some overtime at the office. So once again I smoked the tires while resting comfortably in my own pimping new seat addresses with my hands tightly gripped around the varnished mahogany tyre.

Things were going good until I pulled up home to my friend 1 day. I possibly could not hear him because his vehicle was thumping like herd of stampeding herd of elephants. After he went off I realized I'd to do some thing about my anemic stock head unit. Back once again to work to require more overtime. Luckily the work was actually busy during the time. Well a few weeks later I was bringing out the dashboard and installing my new Pioneer stereo, increasing the speakers in the front doors and the back windowsill, and bolting down the amps and boom box in the trunk. Once more I sat in these soft seat covers and enthusiastic my pimped out trip. I was rumbling and thumping as I peeled out of the garage. The neighbors must have liked me then.

Unfortunately that has been the conclusion of my pimping activities with my first car. After that the old Challenger wanted a tad too much attention; brake jobs, broken cylinder heads, new carburetor. I never can keep up long enough to go that next level. About a year later I offered her.

When my daughter gets her first car and really wants to put in a player with my money needless to say I will just sit her down and tell her "I pimped my first car..".
