A good parent for me is considered as one who can present her child simply how much it is loved, one that can discipline the kid, one who can be trusted and something who shows respect. A child that is shown respect easily returns the favor.

I really believe in teaching morals and setting rules for kids. A child that has rules to follow along with in most cases turns out to be the kid with more respect. When i state rules I do not mean rules which can be set at a correctional facility for inmates. I will be speaking about basic rules and morals in the home to develop that child into the citizens we admire today.

nursing - Setting a bedtime for your child at an early age and staying with it is the start of showing good parenting skills. Using this method children will recognize that bed time is 8:00 or 8:30pm and that's final.

Never promise your youngster that you will attend his football game or her dance recital and you did not show up. This will make your child doubt your belief.

Never give a punishment and do not follow through. For e.g. you said there won't be any video games for this week but before the middle of the week the kid is playing the games since you allowed it. This child already realized you can't keep your word. It'll create a lack of trust which can cause problems in the future.

Both parents should be on the same page when creating a decision about your child. One parent should not be saying yes and the other parent saying no thanks. This will create animosity between the child and the parent who said no.

marriage - You do not need to buy our child's love. As we implement the right policies and hang up standards he will love you for what you are a symbol of. Before you know it he will arrived at understand that what you are doing is in his best interest.
