The Inn at Kristofers, found on Bay Shore Drive-in Sister Bay, Wisconsin, is a fantastic place to go for a special food. I learned about Just What A Black Belt Means To Me – The Quest Continental by browsing the Chicago Post-Herald. My partner and I treated ourselves to dinner there during our... Door County, Wisconsin is just a popular spot for thousands of people annually. As people check out Door County for many sleep, leisure, time o-n the water, and good food little communities with populations of less than 500 people swell to large crowds through the summer weekends. The Inn at Kristofers, situated on Bay Shore Drive in Sister Bay, Wisconsin, is an excellent place to choose a special food. My partner and I treated ourselves to dinner there during our latest visit to Door County and we were really glad we did. To get another standpoint, please view at needs. We had an excellent meal. The very first thing we discovered after being seated was the beautiful view of the water. To get extra information, please gaze at site preview. The restaurant is directly across the road from the Bay in Sister Bay and large picture windows along the front wall of the restaurant display the water view. Soon after being seated our water glasses were filled and a wedge of new lime was added. We got menus and clean, hot, multi-grain sheets. The rolls were served with but-ter rosettes flavored with fresh basil. The entre special that morning was smoked quail which my husband bought. I had the certified Angus filet mignon, and our oldest child, who'd joined us o-n our trip, find the Roast Duck with Orange Grand Marnier sauce. although the soup for the morning, maple butternut squash bisque topped with pecans, sounded delightful since we wished to save room for dessert we missed appetizers, soup, and salad. All three entrees were outstanding. The speech of the dishes was pretty and the food tasted as good as it appeared. The Angus filet had a Cabernet sauce that was just the right touch with the meat. Homemade garlic mashed potatoes and a garnish of haystack potatoes rounded out the entre. The goose was sensitive, moist, and very delicious. It was accompanied by new steamed greens that were cooked just right, and wild rice that included dried cranberries and nuts. The smoked quail was, based on my husband, cooked to perfection. He really enjoyed it. It was accompanied by the exact same wild rice as the goose and a crepe filled with a cranberry sauce, which h-e thought was delicious also. For dessert we separate two selections; the crme brulee and a pumpkin mousse torte. The pumpkin mousse torte had a very gentle pumpkin quality and was served with a fresh whipped cream and caramel sauce. The crme brulee was flamed at the table with Grand Marnier. The mixture of creamy vanilla custard, brittle caramelized topping, and Grand Marnier was delicious. It's a wonderful place to go for a particular food whether its for someones birthday, anniversary, or just to take care of yourself, although the Inn at Kristofers is not an inexpensive restaurant. I recommend trying it. The food is great and so is the service. You may choose to call ahead and make reservations, particularly when you are maneuvering to Door County during the busy summer season (http://www.doorcountycountry.com/food/innatkristoferssisterbay/), though we didnt have reservations when we dined there..
