Ebook Reviews Online

In a rough estimate taken by Google in 2012; the Top 500 retailers online had a 77% share of the $198 billion U.S. e-retailing market. That's an estimate for retail sales alone. It's anyone's guess what the total could be when including both brick and mortar businesses online, and those strictly online.
The Internet has grown immensely since the birth of the modem in 1977. Many products and services can be found doing a simple web search, right in our home. Libraries and pubs offer Internet terminals or computers for public use. With this enormous growth came many other devices to tap into the Internet; the cell phone, laptop, ipad, and ebook readers to name a few.
In the year 1971, the ebook was born. The Project Gutenberg kicked off its first Ebooks with the goal of transferring physical books into electronic form to make them more available online. Since that day ebooks have become very popular. With the continuous yearly growth of ebook users, the demand has created many online businesses and services based around the ebook.
One particular part of the ebook scenario that seems to vary from business to business, is their ebook description. A thorough product description is needed online to make up for the lack of physical interaction. When we visit a physical store, we can pick up products, look at them, ask question... If we can find a clerk, and sometimes, we can even open the box and take a peek.
Many ebook web sites fail to give thorough ebook descriptions. So the next best thing to a product description, is the product review. Ebook reviews online can fill in the blanks where the descriptions sometimes fail.
Ebook reviews online, such as blogs, may open communication between seller and interested ebook readers. This is very important, used as a tool to allow the new, or repeat customer the option to know more about the product before they purchase.
With every product or service comes many roots or limbs, similar to that of a growing tree. Over time new discoveries are realized, and additional sub products and services are then created. The tree continues to grow until it matures. Depending on the product or service, new development may grow for many years.
Not only are ebook reviews online important when advertising and selling ebooks, it is also a great method that taps into the roots of traditional business. While some change may be good at times to spice things up a bit, some changes are not so good. Customer support has drastically been downgraded in most of today's businesses. That is not a change that should be continued by any business that cares about its customers or its profits.
As for the fate of the ebook? I don't know its fate, but I do believe many ebook sellers and distributors could learn a thing or two from places like EchinaceaEbooks.com. While not the biggest ebook supplier, they do offer ebook reviews online in their blog, as well as a money back guarantee.
Many web sites that sell PLR, Private Label Rights fail to address this same issue. Lack of product descriptions and failed product testing. I've been selling ebooks, and buying private label rights for only a short time, and noticing products that were never tested, nor checked for inconsistencies.
It's time business goes back to a time when they knew their success came from their customers, and not in tricks of the trade, or lack of attention to details. Today's businesses are being operated by advanced scammer's, with the title of marketer.
So the next time you pull your store card out of your wallet or purse, to save on products that the store marked up from their competitors to give you money off, keep in mind, your being played by businesses that have hired crooks to trick you into spending your hard earned money.
