technology - Sony PlayStation first appeared in Japan in December 1994 and is also still to this day considered to be one of the best selling consoles of most times. The revolutionary console brought the gaming age with a whole, new different level. 128 bit graphics made PlayStation the brand new kid on the block and no one could say something about it. Also the style of the joystick has become iconic, all PlayStation consoles getting the same model of joystick. New gameplay, prolonged game serious amounts of a vibrating joystick were the characteristics that made the PlayStation the greatest console in existence.

Mobile phones - Sony PlayStation 2 first showed its face in July 2000 and it was already competing with the Xbox Arcade and also the Nintendo DS.
