I used to believe that owning the latest camera and the best macro lens will instantly help me to capture mind-blowing macro images. However, it didn't take me long to discover how WRONG I was. Despite spending a fortune and acquiring the latest camera and a specialized macro lens, my photographs were disappointing. I was ready to give up but then I unearthed this saying by photographer Peter Adams which ‘saved' me – "A camera didn't make a great picture anymore than a typewriter wrote a great novel." It ultimately clicked in my head that macro photography wasn't about owning the newest and the best macro photography equipment. It is actually about THE photographer. The best investment any photographer can make is in themselves rather than in any photography equipment. So I searched online photography forums for suggestions on macro photography books that I could buy to help me to develop my macro photography knowledge. After purchasing the books that claim to help you to improve your macro photography, I was disappointed with the majority of them. Most of the macro photography books that I read didn't teach me how to take macro photos. This surprising Check this book out at http://www.amazon.com/Mastering-Macro-Photography-Tutorials-Equipment-ebook/dp/B00OOZPR5U/macro photography/ encyclopedia has oodles of prodound cautions for how to provide for it. Instead, the book contained an abundance of the author's beautiful macro photos. While the images were somewhat inspiring, I really wanted a book that would cover the essentials of macro photography – one that would offer tips to help me boost my game. After looking for a while, I stumbled upon a book on Amazon called ‘Mastering Macro Photography – Ideas, Tips, Tutorials & DIY Equipment'. I didn't have a Kindle book reader but that didn't stop me because Amazon made it easy enough for me to view it instantly on my computer. This resource has a great balance of theory and hands-on tips and tutorials to help you progress your macro photography. There are just so many things that I love about this book. For the macro photographer beginner, it will cover how you can get started in Macro Photography – you'll be astonished, you don't really even need a macro lens at all It'll even explain the usual predicaments in macro photography and how to prevent them. For the more skillful macro photographer, the book reveals many macro photography tips and tricks to improve your skill. A full section of the book is even devoted to photographing bugs and flowers To top it off, it also provides tutorials to help you to snap unique macro photography photos. I have never been so impressed with such a minor purchase like this before.
