I've seen sealed concrete for years, and wasn't a lot of impressed by it. only pricey industrial applications looked decent, and even that was a stretch. Recently, though, new texturizing and pigmenting trends permit homeowners to introduce sealed concrete to their exteriors.
interior concrete sealer involves gushing block concrete for driveways, walkways, patios, etc., then impressing each patterns and textures onto the concrete before it's absolutely dry. for many years, a lesser kind of sealed concrete was usually seen that merely duplicated patterns. but the newer kinds of sealed concrete impart textures that duplicate many different surfaces like cobblestones, brick, pavers, wood, seashells, and more. Also, pigment is typically accessorial to sealed concrete to any duplicate the look of such patterns.
Brick, pavers, and cobbles look nice, but since they kind a surface of many interlocking pieces, they're at risk of frost-heave and alternative changes within the underlying surface. typically this may be good, if you are making an attempt to cover an uneven surface--the brick, pavers, stone, or pavers will adjust to the surface. however if you have a good, flat, and level face, you'll want your concrete to be ordered a similar method. Reinforcing rods among the stamped concrete prices facilitate to tie the pavement along and strengthen it.
Also, bricks, pavers, cobbles, etc. allow for weed to become old through the cracks. Since stamped concrete may be a solid, continuous surface, nothing will mature through the "cracks." As you'll already understand, the "cracks" in sealed concrete are merely impressions in the concrete that solely partially undergo the surface.
