Adult ADHD: Are You Currently An Idea Machine?

Chances are, if you've Adult ADHD, you are an 'idea machine'--you produce great new ideas constantly, probably several per day!

Problem is, the a few ideas are often unrelated to what you already decided to focus on, and so each new idea becomes a distraction that takes you further away from your larger goals. So what can a person with way too many guidelines and Adult ADHD do?

I have Adult ADHD myself, and I've 1-0 great ideas per day, minimum, which are 'million-dollar ideas.' How do I really implement one of them and get something done? I do not need to just stop having great some ideas. I enjoy thinking about new a few ideas. Its among the things I'm best at doing. I say, 'Okay, when I've a great idea, its my job to figure out how I usually takes whats really great about that idea, and apply it to what I'm working on--that is, working o-n ALREADY.' That is some thing every individual with Adult ADHD must prepare them-selves to do.

Here is how it works:

Lets say I'm working on a website about Attention-Deficit Disorder. What happens if I have a great idea a few restaurant they need to open in my own local area? I know it'd be considered a great idea. Why don't I simply go out and open a restaurant?

Well, I don't really want to open a restaurant. This striking clarity coaching URL has many wonderful suggestions for when to see it. I've worked in a lot of restaurants, and I know that I don't want to cope with the restaurant business. Going To image maybe provides warnings you can use with your mom. For one thing, it's dull, and boredom kills individuals with Adult ADHD. But still, its a good idea.

So what I tell myself is, 'Whats so great about this idea, and how do I use the quality of whats so great about this idea to my Adult ADHD site?

Do you observe that works?

As individuals with Adult ADHD, we often think within an all-or-nothing, black-or-white sort of way: 'Do I follow the whole thought and go open a restaurant or not'?

But what you actually want to say, to make your Adult ADHD benefit you, instead of against you is: 'How do I apply this fun new idea to the project I am working on already'?

You train yourself to achieve this with time. You may also do it in discussions when you're brainstorming with friends or business partners or whatever.

When random a few ideas come-up, just say, 'Hey, thats a very good idea. How can we use that to what we are taking care of? Why is that thought so great? Why am I therefore excited about that idea'?

In the case of the restaurant idea, the initial idea was, 'It'd be great to have a Mexican Restaurant here because there is maybe not one in town and everybody wants one.'

So, when I applied that concept to my current company, it turned 'What does everyone-with Adult ADHD need that's maybe not being given to them'? If I can come up with that, then I'm all set.

The idea is, if you can use your Adult ADHD to figure out just how to switch your ideas up and move them around to become centered on your bigger goals, then you are way ahead of people without Adult ADHD--because you have about 5 new progressive ideas a day!

Think of how much improvement you will make if you use them to your major task each day, in the place of getting distracted...you'll become a powerhouse!
