Allergic to Steven Krivit?
De BISAWiki
He's sensitive a' and apparently impervious - to criticism, and recent exchanges show this. It is been said that a reporter who edits his or her own work has a fool for a publisher, and Krivit has shown that.
At one time Krivit was working with the main researchers in the field. A lot of them will not speak
with him any more, because he turns the things they say, getting whatever he can assert is wrong
and showing that and emphasizing it, with a key exception: he's when it concerns Widom-Larsen theory Mr. Kid Gloves.
I have been finding that he's reconfigured his web site to make it difficult to get criticism
of W-L theory, and in recent strings -- beneath the title "Critique of Widom-Larsen theory" -- I have
documented this. What he's allowed, probably because it was published under peer review or
independently, he gift suggestions with a deprecatory launch. What he accuses others of is what he is, himself, doing.
As well, Krivit used to possess some responses from researchers in-the field, on W-L
theory; those have largely been de-linked, and only positive responses are offered, aside from
The one that was extracted, out-of context, from Krivit's communication with Richard Garwin, and
the display steven krivit radically distorts the meaning. Garwin was being highly critical, successfully
dismissive, about theory, in reality, while Krivit only estimates "I did not say it was wrong."
So now we understand what Krivit was doing. Taubes built his career by writing a book on "Bad
Science." Krivit managed to parlay his reporting -- that has been supported by the Brand New Energy
Base (manager of Infinite Energy, founded by Mallove) and by the *actual*
internationally-recognized expert on chilly fusion, Edmund Storms -- into authorship and
editorial jobs for many encyclopedia articles. The cooperation with Marwan is dead,
last I saw them together (2010 or 2011 ACS Conference?), Marwan was considering Krivit with obvious distaste.
Krivit can be a knowledgeable writer, although not an "authority on LENR." He has no awareness
of cold fusion theory, and accepted that in his November keep in touch with the ANS (I.e., he could
Review it, however not answer questions on it). To be honest, cold fusion theory is understood by nobody,
but Krivit pretends that he understands enough to support W-L to the exclusion of every other idea.
He is naive, or worse, he is attached with some consequence, most likely the increased concern of
W-L idea. That is offered as a company, Lattice Energy.Steven Krivit Paid by Charles Entenmann & Widom- Larsen?
