For each Call of Duty game out there, the players always end up just stick to 2 or 3 different loadouts. Finding the right weapons that fit both personal style of play and BO2 maps will help you greatly. If you run & gun style player, find great SMG such as MP7 PDW or (how fast and strong arms). MP7 is strong, but only effective for a short distance. PDW, on the other hand, has a slight strength, improved range and higher precision.
Snipers
For maps that have long, open stretches of terrain, try to use a powerful assault rifle or a sniper rifle. Maps like turbine are huge and have great places where you can set using the sniper and pick enemies left and right. Currently our most popular snipers are DSR-50 and Ballista. DSR is the best for long-range sniping, because it has more power and will result in more kills and less disposable hit markers. Assault Rifles are best for medium to long range combat. They are generally more accurate and more powerful than the SMGs. Some of the best are in BO2-FAL OSW (high damage, high accuracy, low rate of fire), SMR (like the FAL, but with more damage, less accuracy) and-94 (well rounded gun with a moderate rate of fire, damage, range and precision).
