A Review of Musicnotes - Digital Written music Dealer
sheet music - Are you a musician? Can you find the written music you want? If you are similar to me, then the answer is no. Even though the town I live in isn't that small, there still isn't an large selection of stores in terms of music. There is only one small music store that I go to (and only on rare occasions) after i need something immediately, like strings for example.
sheet music bot - When I are interested to buy sheet music though, that little shop isn't much help. There is only a small selection of written music for the most popular genres and most popular instruments. In order to play Beethoven piano arrangements then you're fine, but if you want another thing then you are out of luck.
sheet music bot - I couldn't find what I wanted within my area, so shopping on the web was my only alternative. After trying different online written music dealers I finally found one that I really liked-Musicnotes. This site offered instant digital written music and I thought it sounded cool, but wasn't sure how "digital" music works.
I realized that it was really easy to get it done though. In order for the digital sheet music to work, you do need to have special sheet music software, but you can download that at no cost on the Musicnotes website. After downloading the free software I began looking through the music database. It absolutely was completely different from my local music store!
This web site has thousands of songs to download the sheets for, plus many different genres. The caliber of the site is great and i also have never had interest in purchasing from a local store again. You can easily buy exactly what I want and I don't even need to leave the house. I can locate a song, download the sheet music, and learn it straight away.
At first I was leery concerning the musicnotes player software, but now love it! It has many features that assist you to learn songs such as being able to transpose, change the tempo, or learn one area of the song at a time.
The only real downside I can see with this program is that you must be on a computer for these features to work. But, if you want you can print from the sheet music like you normally would. Since I use a digital piano, I usually just slide that up alongside my computer in order to use the software though, it really is a big help.
