Minecraft was originally founded Markus Persson, who might know as Notch. On 19 November 2011, Jens Bergensten, who knew as Jeb took over creative control to Markus focus on new things.

Thanks to the success of Minecraft, Markus formed his own company in 2009. Mojang AB currently has two titles in development. Moves and the latest project of Markus' 0x10c both get cooked. Mojang AB publishes the latest Oxeye Game Studio, Cobalt. Longer History

1 June 2009. Stockholm. Markus Persson quits his job at the office game developers to create their own game. Unemployed, but enthusiastic, Markus looking for inspiration, and came from the indie game development blog Tigsource.
