D'Leedon's Location

d'leedon - It is perhaps fitting then, the d'Leedon condo occupies a jewel of a location: in the prime District 10 enclave, close to the Singapore Botanic Gardens and Orchard Road downtown. Soaring majestically above the surrounding high-end luxury bungalows and low-rise condominiums, d'Leedon's seven 36-storey towers present an unobstructed outlook to Singapore's skyline in addition to views of expanses of greenery north at Macritchie Reservoir, north-west at the Bukit Timah nature reserve, and east to the Singapore Botanic Gardens.

Within an unusual and innovative move, the 150-metre high towers seem to rise from sunken gardens within the landscape. The bottom level is conceptualized like a green layer, evoking the lush vegetation that's a lot section of the local climate. This landscape is organized into a group of terraced plateaus that maximise the region for communal facilities and greenery, and make interesting vistas and spaces.

The silhouettes from the towers taper inwards on the lower floors, kinking in at the base to reduce the footprint and also to create unique and highly private gardens. Each tower is divided into petals, that match the amount of apartments per floor, with its three-dimensional forms giving definition for the facades as well as allowing for cross-ventilation.

d'leedon condo - By varying the sizes of the units and 'petals' on each floor, the towers seem to grow organically in curving silhouettes and flowing lines. These towers culminate at the very top having a stepped outline that transitions the building with the sky.
