The Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller Vs The BOB Revolution Stroller
Okay, so you're stuck in between the Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller, as well as the BOB Revolution Stroller. I will understand why, both of them are extremely well built, with comfortable child seats equipped with a 5-point child safety harness, and multiple seat reclining positions, adjustable rain/sun hoods, large under-seat storage, parking brakes, and running leashes. Both Jeep as well as the BOB have excellent reviews as well. This could be a tough decision, however, there are several unique features that set both of these jogging strollers apart. Let's take a look, shall we?
First, of all, the suspension systems. The Jeep Overland provides a spring loaded suspension system, that makes for an extremely smooth ride. The BOB Revolution delivers a shock absorbing suspension system, also smooth, however, the BOB's shock absorbers can be adjusted, according to terrain, and also the weight of your growing child. The BOB Revolution's max weight is 70 pounds, whereas the Jeep Jogger only increases to 45 pounds. The BOB Revolution also weighs less, 23 pounds compared to Jeep's 28 pounds. When you examine what all you get with that extra 5 pounds, it doesn't seem so bad, though five pounds may seem like a lot. The Jeep Overland Jogging Stroller includes tons of extra's including, a young child snack tray with cup holder, a hand brake for all those extra steep hills, a flexible handle with multiple heights and other angles, and also a parent tray having an iBaby sounds system that provides you and your child the cabability to tune in to tunes on the trail. The parent tray also includes cup holders, and storage for keys, mobile phone, etc. With all of those extra's, it appears as though a pretty simple decision, however you can still find a couple of very important key features to check.
Number 1, the top wheels. The Jeep comes built with a set front wheel, whereas the BOB provides a locking swivel front wheel. In order to do so, while the BOB Revolution simply turns on a dime, this means that when it comes to turning the Jeep Jogging stroller, you must pop-a-wheelie. The reason for this is that the Jeep was designed for the "SERIOUS" runner, and the BOB was designed for the "ALMOST SERIOUS" runner. Almost serious means, which you tell people you're heading out for a jog, and you end up just walking really fast 80% of times. Hey... NOT QUITE, BECAUSE I'M EXTREMELY LAZY" jogger, although i'm not poking fun, I'm the "ALMOST SERIOUS. Therefore, the BOB Revolution could be more my style. I like being able to navigate through the grocery store easily, or around tight corners without lifting the front end up. I love the fact that you can lock the front side swivel wheel, and also have the added comfort of a sturdy fixed wheel when I'm "ALMOST SERIOUS" about jogging. What I don't like about the BOB Revolution, is the price. The listing price for your Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller is $239.99, over 100 dollars lower than the BOB Revolution, priced at $389.00. Which is a significant difference. You must also keep in mind that the BOB' resale value is also through the roof, however. You can sell a used BOB for nearly the identical price as possible purchase a new Jeep Overland. The BOB has a HUGE following. That's the reason for that. People love this jogging stroller. They are saying it's like pushing air, light as a feather, and totally worth the extra money. The Jeep also has excellent reviews, however I did find a few complaints regarding the front wheel, apparently, a number of people purchased it without realizing the front wheel was fixed. I guess that may tick me off too.
If you are a "SERIOUS" runner, you may want to take a better look at the Jeep Overland Limited Jogging Stroller, in conclusion. If you're an "ALMOST SERIOUS" runner, you may want to consider taking a loan out to buy the BOB Revolution Stroller. Good luck, hope this can help!
