A Review of Musicnotes - Digital Written music Dealer

sheet music - Are you a musician? Can you find the written music you want? If you are similar to me, then the answer is no. Even though the town I live in is certainly not small, there still isn't a large selection of stores when it comes to music. There is just one small music store i go to (and only on rare occasions) after i need something immediately, like post for example.

sheet music - When I are interested to buy sheet music though, that little shop isn't much help. There is only a small selection of written music for the most popular genres and a lot popular instruments. If you wish to play Beethoven piano arrangements then you are fine, but if you want another thing then you are out of luck.

sheetmusicbot.com - I could not find what I wanted within my area, so shopping on the web was my only alternative. After trying different online sheet music dealers I finally came across one that I really liked-Musicnotes. This amazing site offered instant digital written music and I thought it sounded cool, but wasn't sure how "digital" music works.

I realized that it was really easy to get it done though. In order for a digital sheet music to work, you do need to have special sheet music software, but you can download that at no cost on the Musicnotes website. After downloading the free software I began looking through the music database. It had been completely different from my local music store!

This website has thousands of songs to download the sheets for, and in many different genres. The caliber of the site is great and i also have never had interest in purchasing from a local store again. It is possible to buy exactly what I'd like and I don't need to leave the house. I can locate a song, download the sheet music, and learn it immediately.

At first I was leery about the musicnotes player software, however love it! It has many features which help you to learn songs for example being able to transpose, change the tempo, or learn one part of the song at a time.

The sole downside I can see with this particular program is that you must be on a computer for these features to work. But, if you want you can print from the sheet music like you normally would. Since I use a digital piano, It's my job to just slide that up close to my computer so I can use the software though, it is actually a big help.
