Monte Carlo is the city of glitz and over the best indulgence. I had to see it for at least a day trip and ended up obtaining my food paradise.

Monte Carlo is the where visit our site you go to see the fairly people. Nicely, possibly not pretty, but undoubtedly wealthy. I was loafing in Good for a handful of days and decided to join two travelers for a day trip to Monte Carlo. Monte Carlo is only a ten minute train ride from Good, so it seemed like the ideal day trip.
Monte Carlo is the type of place that tends to make you feel insignificant. The place screams yachts, money, plastic surgery, funds, Ferrari and did I mention cash? This is not a travel destination for the faint of price range.
Monte Carlo is mainly about beaches, being noticed and a high end casino. We had already hit the beaches in Nice, werent essential adequate to "be observed" and had been denied admission to the casino, so it was off to the museums.
Museums in Monte Carlo are pretty run of the mill with a single notable exception. Spend sufficient time in them and youll grow to be convinced the Grimaldi royal household is solely accountable for human civilization. Ive been recognized to embellish on occasion, but the museums are ridiculous.
As day turned to evening, it was time to uncover a thing to eat. There were lots of restaurants, but we either couldnt afford them or werent dressed appropriately with our shorts. Walking back to the train station, we stumbled upon paradise itself.
Growing up in San Diego, California, one particular becomes addicted to Mexican food. Sadly, there arent a lot of Mexican food restaurants in Europe. In fact, I hadnt eaten a rolled taco for two months. That was about to alter.
Turning the corner on 1 of a lot of endless little streets in Monaco, we had been stunned to see a line of folks waiting outside a door. The sign over the door study "Juans" and paradise was just before us. Turns out the restaurant was owned by a San Diego resident and served authentic Mexican food. Rolled tacos, chicken tortilla soup and Dos Equis beer.
Mexican food in Monaco was definitely my notion of paradise. Of course, it set me back $75, but I really didnt care at that point.
