My husband has ultimately convinced me to go to a football game. Because it is off-season the tickets will hopefully be less costly. I was amazed by what all went into going to a football game though. The tailgating alone was an endeavor I did not anticipate. In order to get me, “football ready” I had to buy numerous pieces of tailgating clothes tailgate and learn how to operate some tailgating cooking gear and other odd devices. I was amazed by how a lot went into it but my husband and I was amazed how quickly I assimilated into the culture. Some of the tailgate gear that I bought was a hat, gloves, a scarf and a jersey of course. My husband told me that during the game you can grow to be extremely cold and by dressing warmly you can at least fight off the cold until the finish of the game. Once I got there though, I was amazed by what ladies put on to the game. There was face paint, hoodies, shoes and even group affiliated leggings that females had been sporting in the stadium. Whilst I’m confident they had them in my size, I did not want to invest such a big amount of money in apparel that is only meant to be worn at games. To properly tailgate, my husband had to teach my tailgate games ahead of we went to the stadium. Most of the games have been drinking games that involved odd and convoluted guidelines. Luckily, I caught on rapidly and they had been a hit when we in fact joining the other tailgaters. When I had a beer, my tailgating gear and was playing drinking games with them, I felt as although I had done this for years. It was nevertheless bitterly cold and I was so ready to go back to my auto and turn on our seat warmers. Although it was a very good encounter I will happily wait till football is back in season before carrying out it once again. I would definitely have far more of the meals, though. Everything that goes onto a tailgating grill is utterly amazing. Underneath this large tailgate tent there had been several grills generating hot, scrumptious meals. It wasn’t just the typical hamburgers and hotdogs that you would expect. There was authentic bratwurst sizzling next to pulled pork sandwiches and BBQ chicken. There was even incredible desserts such as deep-fried Oreos that had been warming under a heat lamp. Needless to say, the junk meals lover in me was in heaven. All in all I’m glad I gave tailgating a attempt. Without having attempting it I would have by no means had such very good food, bear or have met such amazing men and women. I thanked my husband profusely when we have been driving home and he was happy that he finally had a person to take to the games with him. We have also become closer considering that I have agreed to go more games. Now we cheer for the very same team and celebrate when they win. Thankfully he is not a diehard fan so he is ok that I do not want to go throughout off-season.
