Whilst it is true that posting articles can cause significant amounts of traffic to your website you will find a few important things to be considered. Well that is a nice thought for an ideal world where everybody get's their particular niche and every page of your site fills the first 3 pages of a search, but for the rest of us in larger areas your competitors can be very tough.

I am unsure about you-but I think many individuals blindly submit articles to article directories and ezine writers without concern for the keywords their targeting using their anchor text inside their source field or throughout the article. To summarize, some other quick ideas not to forget - if it appears realistic and not stupid use your keyword once-in the title of your report! My recommended keyword above will require some imagination to flow well in sentences. Include your keyword a pair times throughout a 5-700 word report and once inside your source package should easily be sufficient. Just do not over-do it and since the engines are more and more shooting for quality non-duplicated content your likely to have to be distributing articles that are in language for longterm reliability( :--).

Also, concerning the web page your targeting, use your keyword( s) once in-the page name, once in your page headers, in one or more of the alternative tags of your images and around 0.5 - 2 % of the pages complete terms. I have found this makes a difference once the spiders come running your pages.
