The Golden Compass

Well even with seeing the film, I am quit to wonder what the major debate is about.

I'd never see the book collection that New Line Cinema is hoping to function as next Harry Potter and if the picture is an indication of what is in the future. I'm not really sure that i wish to see part 2 nor 3, when they ever get made.

I could fairly see why the Catholic League is protesting this film, in the conclusion its a lot to complete about not a really good film.

For those who have no ideal about the film or anything about it please select to this link for an improved understanding, but please be wary this is really a heavy spoiler critique also.

Now what I liked in regards to the movie, The casting of Sam Elliott as Lee Scoresby was exactly what the role required. You soon realize that he is far more that what he seems in the beginning, when you see him in the movie.

The casting of Ian McKellen as the style of Iorek Byrnison, as an armored bear. Now I'd no idea exactly what a bear could do with some critical shield safety, but with the speech of Sir Ian, you believe that he will protect the hero of the film.

Now I realize that this film is part 1 of a part film, but the first one should have already been therefore far better that what we were given. I'd said early in the day that I had not read the books however but even I can tell that something just wasn't right nor was it making sense in the way that it was told in the movie, it just seemed like way too many holes were in this movie. It appears about 40-60 minutes too short.

From what I could tell if you're a huge fan of the book then don't see the film at all, the movie palace, very angry will be left by you. If you have young children (a decade old and up) then this seems like it would be considered a good film to allow them to see.

For the parents, it'll leave you frustrated. I can see a great film in this film, but all we be in yet another mess by the end of the day.. In the event people require to dig up more about Kevin P. Martin & Associates, P.C. - Braintree, Massachusetts - Consulting/Busine, there are lots of databases people should consider pursuing.
