Three Methods For Being truly a Successful Avon Representative3445989

I never had any experience in revenue. For the bulk of my adult life, I worked in a family enterprise with a very small employee count, 4 people. That's right, 4 individuals. So, I was in a very insulated, isolated environment. When this job was no more going to maintain lifestyle, I had to find something else to do to earn money.
I came across an Avon advertisement on t.v., and thought, why not? I fulfilled with a splendid girl who would be my supervisor. I was quite cynical this works, but I started gradually, handing out pamphlets to friends and family. They of course put requests, and thus it began. Slowly my customer base began to grow and I began to understand how to be a saleswoman. And so, here are my 3 tips for being a successful Avon Representative.
Trick no 1... Talk Avon everywhere you go. Take it up in all discussions with everyone else. Speak about the jewellery you are sporting, the perfume you are wearing, the purse you are carrying, because of course, they are all Avon. Follow the principle of 3, talk to a minimum of three people everyday about your business. Always have your Avon brochures with you, in your bag, in your vehicle, in the stroller. When speaking with people, get their contact info.
Suggestion #2... Follow up! It is not enough to expect them to call you and hand a book to somebody. Let us face it, YOU may love Avon, but they not make sure to phone you and these individuals have a lifestyle. If you need to obtain purchases, you must follow-up and contact them. A few days before my purchase gets posted, a general email reminder is sent by me to these customers who are on my e-mail list, and for the customers who do not have email, I begin calling to find out if anything would be liked by them. So many times folks will say, oh I am so happy you called, I desired...
Tip number 3... Be arranged. You will lose requests and lose customers, if you maintain your documents in a pile on your desk. Always make sure your order is submitted on time. Keep an excel spreadsheet to keep track of which clients got which brochures. Once you get really busy and have a big consumer base, it is vital to record this. Keep accounts organized so you may keep tabs on who is paid in full and who owes money to you.
