This is general rules in most of the states and might vary slightly. First we will cover car insurance requirements in Washington State.
In Washington state, it is required that all drivers carry a 25/50/10 policy. This means $25,000 liability coverage for bodily injury for a single person, $50,000 coverage for bodily injury for multiple passengers, and $10,000 coverage for property damage. In Washington, you must carry proof of insurance at all times while driving. Failure to do so may result in you being ticketed and having your license suspended. This financial responsibility is in place so that all divers have the financial ability to pay for any damages or harm they may accidentally cause upon someones body or property.

Hold a CNA Certification in Washington
The state law further requires newly employed nursing aides to be certified, and earn a CNA Certification in Washington within 120 days to provide resident care in a facility. The responsibilities for CNA Certification in the state are entrusted to the State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) and Department of Health (DOH). The Department of Social and Health Services is also empowered to approve and monitor state training program, develop and monitor testing process, and ensures nursing aides meet the federal work requirements while performing resident care. However, the Department oversees that each CNA meet the additional state law provisions to work as a Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) in any facility. It is also the responsibility of the Department to award the NAC Certification to deserving candidates.
Nursing Assistant Certification Process
Nursing aides must complete two crucial steps to become a nursing assistant certified, and they include:
Enrol and successfully complete Nurse Aide Training Program
Pass state-approved competency testing
Washington CNA Training Program
The state-approved training program is federal OBRA required 75 hours training, in addition to 10 hours, divided into 7-hours HIV/AIDS education, and 3-hours cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training. The total 85-hours training program consists of 35-hours theoretical classroom instruction, and 50-hours clinical hands-on experience, of which 16-hours training, prior to any contact with a resident must be spent on infection control, communication, and interpersonal skills, promoting residents' independence, safety/emergency procedures including the Heimlich manoeuvre, and respecting residents' rights.
Washington CNA Test
The Washington State Aging and Disabilities Services (ADSA) has contracted a national testing agency Pearson VUE to prepare, score, and report the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) exam results to the state Nurse Aide Registry. Pearson VUE, together with the Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation Service (NACES) develop, schedule, and administer the NNAAP exam in the state.
The State-approved CNA Test consists of two separate parts including
The Written/Oral Test, consisting of seventy (70) multiple-choice questions.
The Skills Evaluation Test requires demonstrating 5 randomly selected skills on a dummy, or a model.
